- Period: 30 (2 periods / week)


II. Objectives: Upon completing the course, students will be able to:
1. Knowledge: 
- equip with knowledge on vocabulary and English grammatical structures and develop the ability to communicate through the active reading activities in class with some common topics in daily life.
2. Skill:
instruct how to improve reading comprehension skills through 4 strategies: skimming, scanning, analyzing positive and negative details, and expanding vocabulary.
3. Attitude:
build their consciousness of self-studying and reading habits.
