- provide basic knowledge about the historical process of forming the UK, outstanding features of geography, economy, education, beliefs, festivals, ethnic diversity, and personality of the British people

2. Skill:
analyze, evaluate and research British social and cultural issues
- work independently, work in groups and make group presentations

3. Attitude:
improve the spirit of self-learning and acknowledging the beauty of British civilization and culture
