GENERAL ENGLISH 2

I. Overview of the Course:
- Subject: General English 2
- Credit: 3
- Period: 45 (3 periods / week)

II. Objectives: Upon completing the course, students will be able to:

1. Knowledge: 
- Review the grammatical structures in each lesson and use them in different contexts.

- Distinguish the phonetic, pronunciation, intonation through the context

- Write the main ideas and supporting ideas of the listening, speaking, reading tasks.

- Know how to write different kinds of writing tasks 

2. Skill:

- Skim, scan the texts, take notes and transform information in a simple way.

- Do listening, speaking, reading, and writing exercises at the pre-intermediate level.

- Guess the situation and paraphrase the content in a different way.

- Write topic sentences, supporting sentences, and concluding sentences for different kinds of paragraphs.

3. Attitude:

- Acknowledge the importance of the subjects

- Build your carefulness and concentration.

- Build their consciousness of self-study skills in order to improve their English skills at the pre-intermediate level.
